About the Role

You will be crafting YouTube video titles, thumbnails and descriptions that can double the CTR for the worst-performing videos, aiming for >5% long-term CTR while maintaining or improving the average watch time. You'll work on 1-2 videos per week so this will take only a few hours of your time per week. Initial term of the contract is 1 month and can be extended for the right candidates.

What You Will Do

• Work closely with the channel managers to improve video performance of the existing video library.
• Craft titles that people NEED to click on.
• Create images for thumbnails.
• Design compelling thumbnails with scroll-stopping captions.
• Listen to a lot of romance audiobook content.
• Immerse yourself in the community.
• Gain a deep understanding of the audience (that doesn't just mean YouTube analytics). You'll need to read the listener discussions, understand their interests, and analyse what makes users engage.

Our Requirements

• Compelling copywriting skills – You can write click-worthy titles without resorting to misleading clickbait or cringe cookie-cutter title formats.
• Strong visual and design skills – Can you instantly tell a strong thumbnail from a weak one? More importantly, can you create high-performing thumbnails?
• Audience-first mindset – You don't just analyse what works; you can actually create content that resonates deeply with the listeners. We don't need someone to point out what's not working. We need someone who can spot what's not working AND then fix it.
• Data-driven approach – You can structure and analyse both qualitative and quantitative data to make informed decisions.
• YouTube Algorithm & SEO Mastery - Strong grasp of YouTube's ranking factors
• Proactive – You don't wait for instructions; you identify opportunities and act on them.
• Good understanding of A/B testing – You know how to set up tests with clear hypotheses and extract meaningful insights.
