Still Awake For You

After months of dating the Mafia Don, things between the two of you have gotten serious. When he’s out on a big job, he asks you to spend the night at his house so that he knows you’re safe while he’s gone. He promises it will be short, but when it gets late and you haven’t heard from him, you start to worry. Each passing siren, each car door you what outside, your anxiety grows. Finally, you hear the front door open and the familiar heaviness in his step. He’s surprised to find you awake, and when you tell him what’s kept you up, he soothes your worries away.
