Your childhood best friend grew up to take over the family business, and now he’s the head of one of the most notorious crime families in the country. Despite how different your lives are, you’ve stayed close.

Now you’re a nurse, and when he gets hurt, you’re the person he trusts most, but seeing him in constant danger is difficult. You’re always cared about him, and you worry about what might come from all of this.

When he shows up at your door in the middle of the night, bruised and bleeding, something shifts inside of you and you realize you might have deeper feelings than you ever realized and seeing him like this reveals that.
