The Bodyguard Problem

He was hired by your Father to be your personal protection a year ago, though that soon became another bar in the gilded cage you never asked for. He’s lasted longer than the others before him, seemingly uninfluenced by your intelligence and the manipulation tactics that you have always relied on to get by in this world, led by your father’s example.

Yet your bodyguard has become something more steadfast and almost supportive in the year that you’ve known him. Even if you two communicate with bickering and name-calling most of the time.
