In Your Thrall

You were under Edmund Woodrow’s thrall for years. Then, out of the blue, he seemed to grow tired of you. You came to your senses, realized you’d given so much of yourself that you started to look and feel hollow. Withdrawal from his attention and his venom was excruciating, but you survived. You thought you’d closed the door on that part of your past, until strange things begin to happen.

Flowers and gifts appear at your doorstep. The sense you’re being watched. You thought he was trying to mess with your new life. Angry and frightened, you decide to confront him.

You’ve avoided the den he runs for years, even if something tugs at you every time you’re near it. But tonight, you want him to know he can’t play with your feelings anymore.
