You grew up just down the street from him in a sleepy suburban town. You were always good friends, getting into trouble, the wild parties, the stargazing, the nights up talking for hours. You did it all but you were always just good friends, nothing more. And time took over, life moved on. You went to college and never looked back for years on end.

One fateful night, your back visiting your parents and he’s in town too, for his friend’s birthday. Serendipitously, you both find yourselves at the bar after not seeing each other for the longest time and it’s like you were never apart as the drinks and the conversation flow right away.

It comes time to go home and you hitch an Uber. He offers to walk you home after the ride drops you off but it’s not long before old memories start stirring up, things from the past he missed all the signs for, and when you impulsively kiss him on the lips on his doorstep, everything changes…
