You’ve been married for two years and the pressure to have children is getting stronger and stronger. You’ve always wanted kids, but the idea of bringing them up in such a dangerous world terrifies you. Your husband is next in line to take over one of the most powerful crime families on the East Coast, and you lay awake every night just hoping that he comes home. It’s made it hard for you to commit to starting a family amidst the fear.

While you’re out to dinner one night, he tells you about his friend having a baby, and the conversation spirals. You end up getting into an argument and don’t talk much the rest of the time. After some time to cool down, you apologize and tell him why you’re really so hesitant.
