It's been a few weeks of seeing each other in the palace and around the grounds. Although fleetingly, often just for short, stolen moments of passion before Robert Aumont, the nobleman, has to send you out of his room and his presence to keep you safe.

You've been growing tired of being little more than an accessory in his life. You want more than these secret encounters — you want love — but given your two very different stations in life, he keeps imploring you not to blow your cover.

You argue and storm off, just before Robert catches DePuy, his arch-nemesis, in a despicable act of his own. Robert pours his thoughts onto parchment in an apology letter and brings it to you, so you can think it over and think about your future together. You meet again that night, and he lays bare all his feelings about wanting to keep you safe.

He comforts you, holds you close on the bed, and finally tells you he loves you, and exactly what you mean to him.
