Temperatures Rising

It's morning, and he's getting ready to leave for work. He spots you, his wife, passing by the bedroom door as he's just out of the shower and mostly dressed.

The two of you fall into some playful verbal sparring over a familiar point of contention between you. You're in a daring sort of mood, so you decide to test him, just a teeny bit. As he realises what you're up to, he starts to shift into the more take-charge dynamic the two of you know so well, quietly asserting his authority.

And while he does enjoy being wound up, it's him taking back control that gets you both exactly where you want to be. So he decides to turn it into a little game by pushing all your favourite buttons in just the right way as he does.
