The Proposal

The mafia don has had his eye on you, a childhood friend and the lounge singer, for a while now. He’s sent the occasional bouquet of flowers, but now he’s waiting in your dressing room to catch up on old times. Things aren’t all as they appear, though, as your manager has been getting handsy and violent with you, you’ve tried to conceal things, to keep up appearances, but the don is having none of it. Things are quickly resolved with the manager as his full history of crime is revealed and the don himself has a proposal for you... "No, I do not think you are a ‘damsel-in-distress’. You are more than that to me. But sometimes a girl needs a little help." "How about you become my girl? For real this time."
