End Of This Line: Edward Hunter Series Part 5

Colton escaped with you from the yacht after proving he is willing to kill anyone who gets in his way. Edward manages to get out of his cuffs and pursues him to a warehouse stashed with getaway money. Their final confrontation ends in bloodshed, with Edward barely escaping with his life after confessing his love for you and the FBI coming to the rescue. Now he’s recovering in hospital after an operation, and you’re at his bedside. You ask if he really meant everything he said during the shootout. He’s absolutely adamant: you mean the world to him.

As he remembers your time together in the limo, the office and at the party, it’s clear that everything between you is still very much alive.
