(from VA’s POV): As the son of one of the most notorious crime bosses in NYC, you’re biding your time as an enforcer until you get to take over for him. Unfortunately that includes following every single order he gives you to prove that you’re committed. When it’s discovered that one of your men is stealing from your shipments, your father sends you to deal with him. After a particularly tough day, you come home to find your wife, even though you thought she was going out for the evening. You didn’t have time to shower, and you’re a mess with blood on your clothes and hands. You think she’ll be disgusted with you, but instead, she offers for you to take your frustrations out on her.
